These terms govern your use of Opuntea to coordinate real-world activities, sessions, and community-driven play.

Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your phone and sign-in access secure and use accurate profile information.

Use of the service

Use Opuntea to coordinate real-world activities responsibly. Do not misuse the service, interfere with other communities, or submit unlawful, harmful, or misleading content. You may report concerns from within the app.

Organizer responsibility

Hosts and organizers remain responsible for their own sessions, venues, safety decisions, participant communication, and compliance with local rules.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by law in your location, to use Opuntea. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the service with parent or guardian permission.

Safety and real-world participation

Opuntea coordinates people but does not supervise events, venues, transportation, equipment, or participant conduct. You choose whether to attend or host any activity and accept the risks of in-person participation. In emergencies, contact local emergency services first.

Content and moderation

You retain responsibility for content you submit. By posting in Opuntea, you grant Opuntea a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms, community standards, or law.

Paid or premium features

If premium features are offered, pricing, billing intervals, and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase. Store platform terms from Apple or Google may also apply to app-based purchases and refunds.

Availability

We aim for a reliable experience. Scheduled maintenance or incidents may temporarily affect availability. Data export and deletion are handled through the account controls described in Privacy.

Third-party services

Opuntea may integrate with third-party systems and links. We are not responsible for third-party content, terms, or privacy practices, and your use of those services is governed by their policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

Opuntea is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Opuntea and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the service.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Opuntea, its affiliates, and team members from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created safety risk, or exposed Opuntea or other users to legal harm. You may stop using Opuntea at any time.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change in a meaningful way, we update the date above and keep the current version here. Using Opuntea after an update means the revised terms apply.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Opuntea is established, excluding conflict-of-laws principles. Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@opuntea.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
